I have thought about writing a book for a long time. Probably since 2003-04 while enrolled as a student at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. A professor there, a man who studied at Cambridge, who I greatly admire, suggested I may have some inkling of writing talent. As I explored this idea, I talked to a well known local writer who gave me some great tips about getting published. But beyond that, what I really took from the conversation, was his urging to least BEGIN writing something.
I entitled my blog "Life in the Air" to play upon both the busy reality of my life and fact I am a life long pilot. The purpose here is to ramble on endlessly about the varied and many humorous anecdotes I have had the pleasure of experiencing in my flying career. As I recall things I will write about them. I also will share new experiences as they happen and they may not all be funny, but they may prove interesting to the non-piloting audience. I hope you enjoy hearing these stories as much as have enjoyed living them.

Kudos to my brother Stephen, who is my inspiration for this endeavor.
ReplyDeleteNice work Ace. You need to teach me how to load pictures. In return I will teach you ancient firefighter tricks.
